CLINICAL SCIENCES DEPARTMENT

ORAL AND CHIN SURGERY DEPARTMENT

Surgical and non-surgical treatment of diseases in the mouth and surrounding tissues such as teeth, lips, jaws, sinuses and jaw joints are performed. In addition, reconstructive applications including regional clefts, jaw-facial trauma and correction of deformities in the region are among the functions.

DEPARTMENT OF ORAL AND MAXILLOFACIAL RADIOLOGY

Oral Diagnosis is to diagnose an oral disease based on scientific data, to distinguish it from others and to plan treatment. In this field, the relationship between oral diseases and systemic diseases is examined. In the radiology department, the diseases seen in teeth, jaw and surrounding tissues are diagnosed.

RESTORATIVE DENTISTRY

The goal of Dental Diseases and Treatment is to develop an understanding of the etiology and prevention of common dental diseases and to relate it to improvements in restorative techniques and materials. The practical effectiveness of the restorative treatment not only improves excellent hand ability, but also provides an understanding of the disease processes that affect the teeth and the properties of the materials available for their restoration.

DEPARTMENT OF ENDODONTICS

The main aim of the education given in this department is to teach current knowledge and skills about the etiology, prevention, diagnosis and treatment of pulp and periapical tissue diseases of teeth. In the theoretical and practical training, it is taught to remove and treat pulp pain, to ensure the health of the periapical tissues and new applications are made instead of the lost pulp and the teeth are provided to maintain their functions in the mouth without pain.

DEPARTMENT OF ORTHODONTICS

A properly aligned set of teeth and jaw structure are of great importance in terms of function and aesthetics. The applications made with the education and training given in this department are primarily aimed at preventing the occurrence of any disorders in the related structures, correcting the inappropriate teeth series and jaw-face skeleton defects by a variety of methods and ensuring the new aesthetic and function gained.

DEPARTMENT OF DENTISTRY

In the 0l12 age group, it is a branch of science that provides knowledge and skills about preventive services and treatment interventions required for oral health. In this section of our faculty, it is aimed to prevent chewing function and esthetics as well as prevention of bad habits and phonation by the treatments applied in pediatric patients.

DEPARTMENT OF PERIODONTOLOGY

It is a science that deals with the health and diseases of the jawbone and gingival tissues surrounding and supporting the female. It conducts graduate studies and doctoral level graduate studies in these subjects. In our society, 80% of the common gingival disease prevention and treatment with the latest implant applications offer services.

DEPARTMENT OF PROSTHETICS

In order to replace the teeth lost by various reasons, the dentures are removed, and the diseases, accidents and surgeries are performed.
